ALM Course
As the only Airport Lighting Maintenance (ALM) Course endorsed by the CAEA, Empower’s comprehensive course is geared to all airport electricians (airport employee and contractors) and supervisory personnel. Developed to meet the requirements of the current CSA Standard Z463-18 regarding qualified “Airfield Electricians”, this course provides fundamental training for all airport lighting electricians and electrical supervisory personnel.
Custom Airfield Power & Control System Training
With decades of experience among them, the highly qualified staff at Empower Airport Systems provide custom tailored sessions to meet each airports specific needs. Encompassing everything from routine maintenance on PLC based Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring Systems (ALCMS), Constant Current Regulators (CCR) and Circuit Selector Switches (CSS) to more in-depth fundamental theory of power systems, students gain valuable knowledge and stay up to date with current best practices and techniques.
